Ten things you might want to know about the author:
1. Though he was once a member of the smoker’s cult, he’s keeping himself “clean” since March 2008. He’s also a hard drinker (Absinthe is his one-shot favorite; Bacardi sometimes; Jose Cuervo with his High School friends; Gran Matador when funded by his orgmates; Red Horse when everything’s poor and desperate.)
2. He’s a graphophile. And he’s very meticulous with writing just about anything.
3. He loves Holden, a character from J.D Salinger’s Catcher in the Rye. He thinks he’s somehow a mirror image of that sixteen year-old character. So far, Salinger’s book is his all-time favorite.
4. His dad is bald. Very bald. And he fears that his rising hairline is a symptom of a cataclysmic hereditary tragedy. No way.
5. He’s from University of the Philippines, Los Baños with a course he never liked.
6. He started at Blogspot and ended up slightly famous for his emotional stories and misspelled words as well. He owned Utakgago.com, which was a long-forgotten site ever since it expired last February, 2008. He consider himself a personal blogger. He started posting rants and raves of teenage life when he was fourteen, and as the year goes by and his posting frequency declines (a bit), he prefers more of a formal approach in writing. But he still can’t get over his slang posts.
7. Brick and Fight Club are his favorite movies – everything about rebellion and film noirs.
8. He’s a deep thinker (very much) and often does he ponder about the depths of things, though as a normal person, he refrains from divulging his deep thoughts to others.
9. He loves rock music, and its closed ties including alternative rock. He adores Maroon 5 so much that he was “screwed up” and “high” after not watching their concert in Manila.
10. He dreams not of becoming a bestselling writer. As long as he has published a single book, he’s ready to die.

Ow. Em. Gee!
I witnessed a similar experience. I was in the library and studying in a remote spot with my study buddy when we heard something shift. Perhaps one of the books. My friend, ever the curious George wanted to know what caused the annoyance (the shifting sounds had been going on for a long time) and found a guy and girl making out.
So there. Ow. Em. Gee.
